Gas Fire with fireplace

So far I have plastered over the artex, repaced all the coving, painted the cealing (not to mention knowcking down the internal porch).
Now it is time to fit a fireplace and put in the gas fire ready for when the gas man when he comes to fit the central heating. The room only ever had a night storage heater, so the gas fire will be upagains a flat wall.
Can any of you recommend a good deal on a gas fire with fireplace? (gold colour is no no, as it won't go with the room. Sliver or oak clolour or white needed).
