Hi hope someone can help!
mortgage with abbey national endowment with prudential these taken out before mis-selling act came into force as informed by f.s.a i had notice of possible shortfall in repayment approx 3 years ago so i increased my payments to abbey by 50% still receiving short fall notices from prudential increased payments made to abbey do not seem to be having any affects on prudentials statements mortgage due to end nov 2012

There is no mis-selling act. Do you mean that you purchased them before regulation come in on 29th April 1988?still receiving short fall notices from prudential increased payments made to abbey do not seem to be having any affects on prudentials statements mortgage due to end nov 2012
You are making overpayments to Abbey. Not Pru. This means your mortgage goes down in value. Not that the endowment goes up. Pru are still looking at the original target and will always do so.
