Just wondering if anybody can answer a quick question.
My 2008/2009 tax return has just been completed online by my financial adviser and i am due a rebate of around £700 :j
Will it be a cheque/PAYE payment and how long will it take for me to recieve this?
Or,
Will it be added to next years allowance?
Many Thanks

You will only receive a repayment if you asked for one. If you asked for it to be sent to your bank account, this is what will happen.
Repayments usually are processed quickly if you have filed nline, but sometimes the security checks might take longer.£705,000 raised by client groups in the past 18 mths :beer:0 -
If you did an on-line self assessment then it will probbaly only take a couple of weeks for any rebate due to be processed, if that. The payment method could be any of the three methods you listed (cheque, straight to your bank account or adjustment to next years code). The one used, will be the one your accountant requested on your representative requested, did they not ask your preference?0

Many thanks for your responses.
He didn't ask, he knows me very well, so i guess he asumed i would want it straight into my bank account. It doesn't matter either way.
