Using my slowcooker for the first time

Options
Ok no point really I just want to pat myself on my back LOL :T

I have never had dinner prepared and ready so early in the day! :rotfl:

One question, I was reading the instructions book that came with the sc and it mentioned you can bake jacket potatoes in it, has anyone tried this, does it really work? I love jacket spuds but I usually end up doing them in the microwave and either under of over cook them.

    Hi looby,

Once you start experimenting with your slow cooker it will be one of your favourite things in the kitchen. I have never baked potatoes in the slow cooker, but I think quite a few old stylers have. This thread might help:

Thanks for that. I have been working my way through the sc threads but there are just so many of them, which is fantastic for ideas but a nightmare if you are looking for something specific.

I really do need to learn how to use the search feature properly LOL
