I suspect this will scan without actually buying the correct product. These Waitrose-specific coupons will normally scan against anything.0 -
Daily Express
Page 32 Coupon for Free 500ml Bottle of Pepsi from Superdrug
valid today only
Bought one paper and visited local small Superdrug.......lovely sa reminded me that "Pepsi and Tango are on BOGOF, so go and get another one free as well" - :T
Bought another paper and visited a large Superdrug to check out their christmas lines (sad but true.....it is that time of year)
I put 2 bottles of pepsi in my basket along with other items.
SA scanned my shopping, I handed her the voucher, which she accepted, then asked for exactly the same amount
I said..."I have just given you a voucher"
SA "you have already had one free, you cannot have another one"
So One free bottle without a voucher, pay for one
and One free bottle WITH a voucher, and still pay for one:cool:
I told her to forget it, and put back all my other shopping as well.
I will stick to my small local superdrug in future.
PS I am sure I saw something in the Express saying there would be a freebie in tomorrows paper to collect at Superdrug.....but my local doesn't open on Sundays, so no good for me.
I have flicked through the paper to check the details, and cannot find anything mentioned, so I am wondering if it was on the vouchers I have used ( or the back of them ) or maybe I need a sit down with a cup of tea0 -
