my fixed rate5 year deal ends with nat west in may 2010.since i took it out i went into a dmp with cccs 4 years ago.i still have 49k worth of debt i have 3 ccjs and 2 charging orders i like the security of fixed payments and have never been late or missed a single payment on mortgage.advice if i go to nat west will they offer me a lot higher rate or even say they dont want me as a customer anymore or do i say nothing and go onto variable rate

Natwest, if you're not borrowing any more, won't need to do a new credit search. Give them a ring and they will advise you on what's available to you (nearer the time)0

Hi Sendintank,
Based on the info you have provided I think you will find that remortgaging to another lender will not be an option. NatWest WILL offer you a new deal Fixed Tracker or whatever is available. In terms of sitting on the SVR or actually taking a new deal from them it would be a case of wait and see. May 2010 is someway off yet and it would be foolish of anyone to be giving you advice based on unknow market conditions at that time.
