when i added to my order the three items. oh then decided i would have two post office sets, they both came up free. when i went through to order, the larger item £49.99 was out of stock so it then let me reserve for pick up the Dream Town Cherry Blossom Stores (TM) Grocery Set and two post office sets for collection tomorrow for an amazing price of £24.99.

    bargain :j:j:j

i have just done the same, fingers crossed it works :p but what do i say when they see i have 2 free post office sets? and argos can't make me pick up the store at a later date can they?

I thought about doing this but thought it might be flagged as part of a promotion where you have to buy all the qualifying items so thought I might have to pay the whole lot when picking up the post offices.
I chickened out!----hope it works for you guys though ;)
  • I have just done the same as the last few posts and ordered 2 x post offices. Hopefully when I use self pay it will still show as £24.99 and I have no problems collecting them from the counter.

Do staff, especially Saturday staff, pay any attention to what you buy? The items are available seperatley anyway so im just going to act dumb lol

i think will act dumb as well and say i am picking them up for my sister and know nothing about the offer if they ask ;)
  • wanted to do this but the post office sets were not in stock till a week later, and I knew I couldnt get away with picking up 2 for free!
  • If you use the little card machines to pay, who's going to know how much you paid for them?

Thats my plan and I wouldnt imagine anyone would bother checking what you have bought and I plan on being there at 9am!

My little girl will love these for either christmas or her 2nd birthday (they are within a few weeks of each other)

    Great post OP!

I find that the card machines charge the normal price, even when it's 2 for £15 I have to pay at a till, otherwise I get charged full price.

    Great post OP!

My little princess is 18 months old. I have got her the dream town house in the Boots sale really cheap back in January & put it away for this Christmas but have brought the store and grocery set with 2 free postal sets for my 6 yr old but they will both play with them together. Hope your little princess enjoys her's too. :T

As long as people dont take the pee and are buying 1 full price item with 1 free one i dont think the staff will realise. I brought a grocery set and 1 free postal set, then went back couple days later and brought the store with 1 free postal set with no probs. I reserved online and paid at the till.
