Online Surveys

Hi Guys,

I need to earn some extra money so I signed up to a few of these online surveys.....a fairly large company that I signed up with are offering a 1 point (50 pionts = £50.00) to every new member you recommend.

I am just wondering what happens if someone set up loads of different email accounts and used them, they could make a bucket load of cash or would the company find out?

Look forward to your responses.

Many Thanks,
Bromarc

They might, they might not. Depends on how well you cover your tracks, more than just email would need to change I suspect. Or whether the bonus payout is dependent on a certain activity level of the people you sign up to cover then in cases of fraudulant activity such as this.
  • Thanks guys, I suppose they can check the IP address that the person uses.....can they?

    Thanks

  • What you think?
  • IP Address or dropping a cookie on your browser are two simple methods.
  • Sorry Bug I dont understand these methods, just my friend reckons hes going to set up 500 email accounts and try this......I explained you better watch out......shall I tell him not to do it?

    Thanks
    Bromarc
  • Ethically, I'd say no. They're a company that makes money from research who he's trying to game.

    Legally, I don't have a clue.
