Wholemeal SR flour recipes

Hi everybody,
I have some wholemeal SR flour in my pantry I really want to use up, so would be interested in any baking recipes people may have. ATM I dont have any plain flour and no funds to buy any for at least a week, so Id prefer recipes using only wholemeal SR.
I have a fairly well stocked pantry (apart from the plain flour) so any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I make Mary Berry's Fork Biscuits. If I have it in I substitiute wholemeal SR flour for white SR. They turn out lovely, and the use of wholemeal flour cancels out any unhealthiness they might harbour in the form of butter and sugar:D
Makes 16
Cream together 4oz soft butter and 2oz sugar, add 5oz self raising flour (wholemeal or white). Beat until it all clumps together. Roll into walnut sized balls. Place on a greased baking sheet well spaced and flatten with your hand. Mark with the tines of a fork if you like.
Bake for 15-20mins at 180c
Variation
Sub half an oz of the flour for cocoa0 -

Ooooooooooooooooooooh lovely I have been looking for the recipe for fork biscuits for ages! I remember orange fork biscuits are nice, I can't remember the recipe though, possibly just stick some grated orange zest in..?0 -
I make Twink's Hobnobs only with Wholemeal S/R flour. It's also fab for scones, and lastly (still kind of scone-y) for Cobbler on Beef Cobbler, flavoured with a bit of mustard too!

I'm fairly certain I've made a Carrot Cake using wholemeal SR flour, may have been a Delia one, but I'm sure any carrot cake recipe could be used. I would go and look but if I start looking at recipe books ...I guess you all know that feeling, say goodbye to the rest of the day.Woofles you need to get out of that house. You are going insane:eek: - colinw
