Trying to book a good hen night venue in Essex

Can anyone help? This is driving me mad.

The hen would like: good food, good entertainment, good drinks, good value and a stripper :rolleyes: in July

I've looked everywhere and the only place i can find with strippers is in London so we succumbed to the thought of a place which would allow us to hire a stripper.

I checked out jail house rock in South woodford but they are buggin me to pay them a deposit (even though i said i was looking around for places) and the entertainment doesn't sound great.

Can anyone give me any ideas?

Not sure if this will help but it might be worth trying a post under the Marriage, Relationships & Families MoneySaving thread. Someone there might know a bit more or even have planned one in Essex.

I am not sure if this will help , but if you try the Circus Tavern on the A13 (possibly Purfleet)just before you come to Thurrock they may be able to help . I went to a fantastic hen night there , a few years back and it was a scream ! If they dont do that sort of thing anymore , I bet they know who will ...

Thank you Scruffy96UK and Lady E, i looked at the circus tavern last night and enquired if they do anything so i am waiting to hear back from them. Glad you had a good time there. I'm going to the marriage board now. Cheers again.
