Well done... a bit of cheek goes a long way... and I mean that in the nicest MSE way
I have just emptied my savings can of £2 coins and have £200 of them. Have just bagged them up and will be off to pop them into the bank tomorrow.
As for MSE-ing today... I too was on ebay looking for some more savings tin (the ones you have to open with a tin opener) and my flatmate asked if I could get him one and one for his OH as they had seen me trying to fill the can and they too want to join in... oh and he has asked me for a quick low down on what is going on on the site today...
I also told 2 colleagues about claiming their bank charges bank...
So today I have been preaching about MSE and CAG... how righteous do I feel?!!!!! :A :A :A :A
:heartpuls CG :heartpuls
PS And I have spent some time looking for car insurance... and paid an extra £100 of my credit cardEver wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.0 -
I have ordered my £10 John Lewis voucher from Pigsback
Can't wait for that I really hope I can get a nice treat for myself. I am scrimping everywhere else and feel deprived at times. In the grand scheme of things, I know I am not at all deprived really...I have a roof over my head & food in my belly & fresh water etc but hopefully you know what I mean! It will just be lovely to wander around with this voucher and hunt for something cool that is just for me!
I have also made HM sweet potato & tomato soup (mmmm!) for dinner which we had with a bargain tomato pave bread from Sainsburys (frozen a few weeks ago).
I went to Tescos and bought 10 cartons of soya milk for 64p each as opposed to £1.09 in SainsburysWon't have to buy milk for a while!!
Made a couple of quid via QuidCo arranging flowers for my Mum tomorrow and doing some searches. I have also signed up for Screen Select DVD's but that hasn't tracked yet...I hope it does (my Snapfish account sign up didn't track  )
Erm that's it today I think.Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.
Sainsburys Loan: Cleared July 2010
Credit cards: AMEX Airmiles Card: direct debit set to clear balance monthly

I have posted ebay items and listed new ones. I am also sending back my sons old mobile to envirofone. Unfortunately I am not too happy as my husband came home tonight and said that his van (only 3 years old) has something seriously wrong with it which means that he has to take the day off tomorrow (for which he doesnt get paid) and try to get it looked at by the Renault garage. We cannot trust other rip off places so go to the main dealer but it will work out expensive. he cant do cars, so will probably work the weekend and we will probably still be down moneywise. Just as I was doing so well. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0
