  • Took me 3 hours getting home from work on Friday, Belfast to P'down. Bloody nuisance. I know it's not Translink's fault but a bit more communication from them would be helpful; me (and at least 200 other commuters) was stood in the Lisburn station car park for almost an hour with no word from anyone on what was happening. This is why I begrudge paying for my monthly ticket so much

everyone knows that anytime there is trouble in lurgan, a car /bus or van will be burnt at the level crossing .This then closes the road and the railway line as well .

What peeves me about translink is, that when there are problems at lurgan, they stop the trains at lisburn, when it would suit a lot of people to at least get the length of moira for relatives etc to pick them up.

But yes, a handful of scrotes making life difficult for everyone (the rioters, not translink btw ;))

But Lisburn's a major station with plenty of space for all the trains; Moira isn't!
