Morning everyone
I made a basic loaf last night which came out lovely :j. I had some while it was still warm and crusty with some home made jam and it was delicious. This morning when I sliced it for sandwiches I notice that the crust is no longer crusty....
Is this normal or have I stored it incorrectly? (wrapped in silver foil)
Thank you

Ah! That probably explains it - it was almost cold but not completely..... And, thinking about it, one I made the other day that was left out over night to cool held its crustinest (is that a word?!) for longer...
Fabulous, thank you so much - the moral behind that then is to ALWAYS ensure the loaf has completely cooled before wrapping/covering it.
