Hi All,
I'm new to this site but wondered if anyone could give me some advise. We are having a struggle at the moment and our bank has referred us to a complany called 'Payplan'. Does anyone know anything about this company. Just trying to find out if they are delivering the correct debt management programmes for circumstances.
Thanks

Hi Mothra, i'm not on a DMP, but Payplan and CCCS are the 2 main organisations we recommend. They'll be able to put you on the right path.
If you want, you could also post upa statement of affairs here and we can see if there are any areas where you could make savings.

Hi there , i just joined payplan back in May and been on dmp with them since. Sometimes they can be busy but they do always come back to me when i need them. The weight they have taken off my mind though by taking on my dmp has been immense and i finally can wake up in the mornings without my first thought being money and how imgoing to pay for things. I would defnitely advise you to contact them and they will try and find the best option for u0

I have been using PayPlan for just over 1 year now. I have about another 4 years left. They are very good and always get back to you if you have any problems. Sometimes they can be a bit busy but they always get back to you.
I pay £350 (this covers payment insurance which I reccoment you take up. Its only about £6 a month) a month and have paid off £6145.81 in that time. They ditribute the payments between all your creditors. I have £12,619.00 left to go according to my plan (which you can view on line) and until 2012. But you only pay what you can afford. Some people only pay a token payment of say £1 to all their creditors, but they encourage you to pay as much as you can afford. Plus you obviously actually want to pay it off.
Payplan are very understanding. You have to fill in your budget and expenditure, but when you do this, I would increase your expenditure abit more (maybe on petrol or food etc) as you don't want to make it to tight for you and you do still want some spare cash for the odd treat here and there. Your see what I mean when you go to fill the forms in.
I would really reccomend payplan and going on a DMP, as you will feel like a weight has been lifted. They can't garentee that the interest will be frozen and charges stopped, but a few of my creditors have frozen them. Others haven't. It takes quite a few months for the creditors to get used to you being on a DMP and accept the payments, but they do eventually.
Good luck. If you want any more advice email me on doyalikeblondesdoya@yahoo.co.uk
