Charlie, BR is a very personal process with everyone having a different experience. The turmoil of negative emotions is definately something that most of us share - fear, anger, shame, the list goes on. Once you go through with it you'll begin to feel a little more like yourself. Just be prepared to face more challenges along the way - there is a light at the end of the tunnel and you'll have control of your finances once again.
