    Apparently Post-It notes were first designed to be bookmarks (in church hymn books, no less).

    I had a great 3D bookmark, but I think I left it in one of my books and can't remember which one so will have to go through them all when I have a free week or two ...........

    You could always nip into your local Odeon cinema as they often have free postcards.

    Why not just rip the pages out when you've read them.:angry: and burn them afterwards.

    My local Waterstones always have a load of free ones out by the tills.You can pick them up free as they are usually advertisments for new books.

    Sacrilege! I had a book from a charity shop once, really old one I had been after for a while. Ironically I can't remember what it was now, was a few years ago. Anyhow, got to about the middle, and someone with a "sense of humour" had torn out every other page for a few pages. I nearly cried, could not find another copy either!
