Well I've had a fabby offer from a friend of my Mums to knit me a '1 off' piece of knitwear.
My Mum was always a huge knitter and over the years we (all the family) have had many wierd and wonderful colour/design and wool 'creations' from her but she doesn't knit anymore. She has shaking hands and fingers, probably due to too much knitting
But a good friend of hers has offered to knit me something that I'd like, now I can buy a long cable cardigan or a polo in any shop so I'd love to take her up on her offer but go wild again :T (I have some of Mums old pieces in my wardrobe still)
So does anyone know of any off the wall knitting sites, free please IF POSS!,
I have looked and mainly I've seen the usual, I have in mind a thick long to my bum coat/jacket in a mix of colours maybe fringing.
I'm not sure of the ladies expertise, Mum knitted anything and nothing phased her.
help
I'm going to present her with 3-4 designs/patterns and let her tell me what she can do.:A

thanks a lot, I went to see my knitter today and whilst I haven't chosen a pattern yet there will be a slight delay as she has 4 to do for christmas and her hubby is quite poorly.
She had done me an apology scarf tho.............I fell about laughing, she is a star!Panda xx
