I'm after a fur cape/shrug/bolero in ivory for my wedding, I've seen a few faux fur ones but ideally would like a real fur one. Is that "okay"?

  • If you are desperate to have real fur, make it as old as you can possibly get hold of, the more vintage it is the more acceptable.

However unless you know every single person who is going to be at your wedding very, very well, all the guests and all their partners etc you run a huge risk of offending someone. I would be mortified if anybody at my wedding was upset by anything, especially if it was something that could have been avoided.

However if you really want it and can be thick-skinned if someone is upset or makes a 'comment' go for it. Only you know how important it is to you.
