Getting Confirmation from companies you are hiring..

Hi peeps,

I'm having a bit of a worry really. My fiance was a huge huge idiot and sent a blank cheque to our Horse and Carriage Co we are using. All it had was their name and his signature. Now, he is totally in the wrong here, and knows it . My predicament is however we have not recieved any confirmation as promised in the post.

We have paid the full amount and it has been cashed. The last email I recieved said we have recieved your cheque and will be sending you confirmation in the post.

We have chased them up twice and still nothing. What should we do?

It's all a bit of a hash up and I am panicking xxx

Firstly, don't panic!! Any decent company would not risk their whole reputation on a small scale cheque 'fiddle'. They probably don't even think you are worrying like this. How about a 'phone call to them to ask for confirmation. The email stating they have cashed the cheque is a contract anyway.
:rotfl:Ahahah got my signature removed for claiming MSE thought it was too boring :rotfl:
