Is this for real ? Why am I suspicious that they would make an offer like this ? Am I going to buy a card and find that all the restaurants no longer subscribe to Taste London and I'm left with a useless card ?0

God alone knows why you're suspicious about this, or why you've posted the response that you have?0

Let me tell you why I'm suspicious Steve.
If they had offered an introductory years rate of £29.95 followed by the full rate of 69.95 for subsequent years then fine. But to offer a yearly rate of £29.95 for life does not make business sense and smacks of desperation.
As a result in a few months time this card, that you paid £29.95 for, will only be accepted at Wimpy in John O'Groats.0 -
it's perhaps a sign of the times - people do not necessarily afford themselves the luxury of eating out as much as they used to and tastelondon has been affected by this. It seems a good deal as your money is potentially recouped in a meal or two. Plus, if the number of restaurants accepting the card falls substantially, there's no need to renew the next year.0

So in a few months time, when between now and then you may have spent say £200 on meals in London that you could have had for £100, you'll be a bit upset to note that this card is still running. And, by that point you would be £70 worse off!0 -
Ha ha - that's a fair point. I'm going to get one immediately !!! Cheers Steve.0

I just thought. What with all the postal strikes, it might take 3 months for the card to arrive by which time it'll be too late.0

Keep up now Marcus and stop acting as though you've just fallen out of the silly tree.0 -
There are so many other offers about that are free I don`t understand why anyone would want to buy a card at all.Make £2 a day challenge - doing well so far.0

Ha, ha - another doubter Steve. I think you've got your work cut out for today.0
