That's a horrible thing for your sister to say. I remember previous posts from you about your sister and to be honest she doesn't sound like a person who is very happy, looks and material success aside! She sounds like someone who is interested only in image and status; I've met a good few of these and underneath they are always hugely insecure, because they know that good looks fade and status is easily lost. You, on the other hand, clearly have your head screwed on (your username says it all).

Don't let anyone ruin your excitement in these last few days, and remember you will look beautiful because you will be happy, regardless of make up! As a last point I would advise not having your sister with you when you are getting ready if at all possible, even if it means inventing some 'emergency' that she has to go and sort out. You need positive people around when you're getting ready to be a bride!

Ooh your sister is wicked, but just think 'Karma', because one day it will come back to bite her on the backside!

Hope you don't panic and worry too much this week, it's understandable though, I was exactly the same!

Hey everyone, sorry it's taken so long to get back, hope everyone whos day has past had a lovely one, and those still to come, don't forget to enjoy it all, best advice i was given.

I had horrid horrid weather so no outdoor photos I was hoping to have more to show you all by now but no such luck so you'll have to make do with these.:D

I had the best day ever despite the weather and despite the fact that nor mine or my daughters hair wanted to curl:eek::eek:

Many congratulations!!! Sorry about the horrible weather, but you know what they say, apparently, this makes for a long marriage!!

:A You're not gatecrashing at all! Thank you so much for your kind words! It's really lovely to get all self indulgent and talk un-"bridal" led nonsense on this wonderful forum and to get such wonderful support. Ma soeur is just naturally stunning and doesn't understand why I am so ugly and why I am 10 sizes bigger than her! Honestly, she is not being horrible, she just wants to me not to turn up looking like my usual scruffy self. The good thing about her not mincing her words is that when she gives a compliment (which she did last time I saw her), I know that it is truly meant!

Panic and worry? You didn't give that impression, you made it all sound easy! I am actually not as worried as I thought I would be - mostly because there is still so much to do and because everything feels so unreal. I have felt like I've been in a dream for the last few weeks!

Don't know where the past few days have gone! Was getting ridiculously panicky so the OH packed my bag and brought me to my mum and dad's for a few days! It has done me the world of good!

4 more sleeps to go!:D

I panicked and worried right up until the night before when I thought, if something goes wrong now, there is naff all I can do about it, so I may aswell just enjoy the excitement!!

If you think you have been in a dream for the past few weeks, wait until the day, it is so unreal I can't possibly describe it!

Just have a wonderful day and lap it all up, because it goes soooo quickly! xxx

Hello all ! I've been trying to get on for days but couldn't get my password sorted. Congrats to all those married great pics! 3 sleeps to go and lots of little bits and pieces left to do. I thought I was coping quite well until Sunday when I had a weird dream about the wedding and haven't had a full nights sleep since then.
