help looking for shreddings for baskets

i dont even know what its called but its like shredded wood for the bottom of baskets as i am making a hamper with homemade chutneys and jams i am looking for something to bulk the bottom
Anyone know what im looking for or can use?

    I've used hay from the pet shop for these sorts of gifts - on the basis that it's cheap, can be composted afterwards and looks great with things nestled in it :) I tend to take handfuls and shake it a bit outside first to get rid of any dusty bits then sort of twist it a little bit, but most of the time it's fine. Either that or maybe try natural raffia, but get it from a garden centre rather than a craft shop though as it's significantly cheaper. cel x

    Hi Babykat, If you google floristry supplies or gift basket packaging, I'm sure something will come up.

    There is also a Hamper thread on here so you will get loads of ideas there.

    What about Raffia - I got a packet from Poundland from the gardening section. Be quick as they will be taking all that stuff off round about now.
