HB: When I was living with DD's dad the house was full of mice. They were eating dog food, rice, cerials just you name it. They had toilet behind the microwave and DD's dad blaimed me for the whole thing and when I was in a mission of killing them (record 12 in two days from behind the cooker) he slagged me off and called me cold blooded killer. The point when I lost the plot was when after missing Mr T delivery (due to getting stuck at wrong side of level crossing for too long) I started cooking dinner and when I lifted cooker lid there was little mouse sitting there in the middle of it. I was soooo glad to move out of there for more reasons than one. I don't know if he has dealt with the mice (=become a killer) after I escaped. It took me long time in this house to get used to not having any mice.

You can get it sorted I am sure!!!

    Thanks, Budgielicious :)

Weirdly I'm in a much lower mood now I'm sober...which only goes to show that the alcohol was clearly masking something so I need to bump up my AF days :D

Admittedly I'll also be a lot happier when the mice have gone :(

(((hugs hunny))) its also the time of year isnt it? PS mind on its a few days when the stuff's still in your system making you a bit glumsome

    Another afd for me

I seriously feel better now - mine is nothing like that, thank the lord!

Jo, have some poison now that they will hopefully take back to the nests & it slowly kills them off. But need to get a couple of holes filled in & my landlord is taking his time about sorting it

    I love mice :D

Wouldn't want them uninvited in my house, but I do love them.

I will never forget where I used to work the place was alive with mice. My colleague (sp?) had bought a loaf of bread and a banana and at lunch time. Banana was sat on top of the loaf. We were sat there chatting when the banana started 'swaying' on the bread. It was a very odd moment!!

A mouse had found its way through the plastic and into the loaf but couldn't find its way out!

I used to be the first one in in the morning and I had to do a 'sweep' of the office in case any of mice might be laying dead as we'd laid poison cos I was the only one that could cope with it. One of my other colleagues was a 6'4" tall bloke that had such a phobia and one day he'd walked into the office and all I heard was the scream. I run in and found him stood on the table, babbling. There was a mouse sat right in the middle of the office staring at me. It didn't move, just sat there! I walked up to it and picked it up by the tail, it was alive, just obviously ingested the poison. I had to take it to the park down the road incase it recovered so that it'd have a nice life with other mouses :o:D

Did I mention that I used to breed rats? :D
