Anyone in a choir or know of someone?

Bit of a random question :o I am trying to find a choir to sing at a carol service / charity collection in Dec in Newtownabbey. I have contacted a few churches and no luck yet.

Its either an weekday evening or Sat 5th Dec for a few hours so schools are out.

Any suggestions of who else to try, I can't see the wood for the trees at the mo as they say! :o

Any advice is much appreciated TIA

  • Hi, There is a group called the Mossgrove Girls. You could call in at the local library they may have a contact No. or Ballyearl theatre, I saw them there last year. Hope this helps.

You could try the Ulster Youth Choir or Ulster Youth Training Choir.
    Offices in cathedral quarter somewhere.
Or what about contacting the Belfast School of Music in Donegall Pass?

  • Thanks Bunnytoo, will look them up. Artytarty, good suggestions! will try them also.

I am waiting on call backs from one school and a church youth choir later today so hopefully will get something sorted from these suggestions.

    Many thanks
