Free in-store wine tasting sessions at Majestic Wine

There was a thread about this posted about 7mths ago, but it was covering events at the time- thought it would be worth starting a new thread for anyone who'd like to find out if any of these sessions are taking place in a store near them at the moment....

Our relaxed 2 hour introduction and tasting session will provide you with a great understanding of wine, from grape to glass. What's more, it's absolutely free and you're welcome to bring a friend.
Most Majestic stores are now offering Wine Uncorked sessions, so if you'd like to find out when courses are available locally our Store Locator is the place to head. Places are limited and fill up fast, so if there's a session near you make sure you book ASAP.

Put in your postcode, and see if there's a session in a store near you. :) All mainland UK :(

  • thanks so much for posting this, i'd not seen the original thread and this looks great! just phoned my nearest majestic and spoke to the guy that runs the uncorked sessions there. (actually does them in his own spare time in the evenings.) he was incredibly friendly and helpful. reckoned more like an hour and half, and there's nibbles to boot :) really looking forward to attending. thanks again OP!

That to me suggest they are earning money on commission for doing it, and therefore there may be a hard sell attempt at the end - be warned!!

However, it does indeed sound good! I may give it a go - thanks to the OP.
