Debt Reduction Offer?

I am currenttly paying my 3 credit card companies very small amounts on my total debt of 15k, due to problems with unemployment. There is a likeleyhood that I may be able to get hold of 10k. Would the credit card companies be prepared to accept this as full payment (my current payments will never let me do this) ? If so how do I go about it?

Someone more experienced may come along in a mo, but if you try contacting them, there would be no harm in that, would there?0
