Thank you for this great tip. However, in practice Wagamama managed to irritate rather than encourage repeat business. Having been advised by Martin of the offer, I printed a voucher and took three colleagues for a quick lunch at Wagamama, Haymarket. After a nice meal the bill had been discounted but only by one meal. When speaking to 'Bart', the leading light there, he explained that one needed a voucher for each free meal claimed. I argued the matter that buy one get one free surely means buy 4 get 2 free; he agreed and said 'but only with a voucher for each free meal: headoffice insists'. Seems silly to irritate people with such a petty attitude when I could have printed any number of vouchers if only I had known. At least now you know so you will not be caught out!

Took my cousin out for lunch on Thursday and used the voucher: total bill came to just over £10. Fantastic!

I can see why they are quibbling over the "one voucher per offer" bit. Annoying, though. Luckily, I printed a stash of them on a colour printer at work and carry a number of them on me now in case of an impromtu decision to eat out.

It actually says on the voucher 'one voucher per couple, per visit' It's clear you will only get one free meal for each voucher. So really if only you'd read the voucher......some poor staff might have been saved your argument.

As much as i'm, all for freebies, i don't agree with arguing with staff when the policy is clear on the voucher, it's not their fault.
Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.
