I know many users of this site also visit other notice board sites. I have been asked on my views about posting my '50p to Tsunami relief' and 'how to raise £30million' for the fund on other sites.
I have absolutely no problem with people posting this info elsewhere, providing it doesn't break their rules (and you don't multiple post spam it). Though i would ask that you keep it to UK focused Forums.
I suggest if you are going to do it you simply write a brief para explaining about the 50p and the site and use the following link. (remember though people must sign up before midnight on tue.)

(note changes to the technology mean this link should work even if you miss the final comma).
Hope this helps

PS In the equivalent post on the 'this site' board, there is a list collating which other forums peopl have posted the info. If you do post it somewhere please add it here.

Hi All,
Just to let you all know that their are a number of bands in the West Midlands who are going to record a single next week to raise money for the Tsunami Appeal.
The song " Stand Together" was originally written by Rob Halligan a Coventry singer songwriter.
It will be sold through Virgin and HMV stores throughout the UK and 100% of the money raised will go to this appeal.
This is not for self promotion of any of the artists or bands involved. It was realised that not everyone could afford to give to the fund or people wanted to do more and so this was a good way of getting involved.
You can hear the original version which was written by Rob in tribute to those that died in the 9/11 twin towers disaster, including his father.

Please let everyone you know about this and that it will be available through Virgin and HMV stores.
Thank you for taking the time to read this post and a happy new year to you all0
