right where to start?
its quite a long story which involves me and depression but i guess thats not really significant. i really need some advice as i am in a right old mess. i have finally reaslied my predicament tonight and i am hoping someone kind will help me?
i currently have a few personal loans but they arent a problem to be honest. the trouble is i have maxed out my over draft on both mine and my joint account with my husband. i am with barclays and am in my personal reserve which charges £22 every 5 days on both accounts (eek). the total of the 2 overdrafts is £3000. i would need about £1700 to get back inside my personal reserve. (yes i am aware i am stupid!) i have applied for a loan but have a bad credit score, not die to miss payments or anything but just from the number of searches that have been done recently.
i really need some advice. i have phoned barclays but they have said they will not help me at this present time. any suggestions for getting out of my overdraft? i have tried for a credit card too and got declined.
oh and i have no money left at all to last until pay day (2 weeks).
help!!!

Firstly welcome to the DFW board and to MSE.
If you can post an SOA (incomings and outgoings) we will see if we can help you reduce your outgoings.
Do not apply for any further credit, it is damaging your credit rating.
You can of course start a claim for the bank charges, I know the test case is still on hold, but the sooner you log your claim, the better. If you look under the salmon tab at the top - Reclaim thousands, you will find all the info there.
As regards to no money for the next two weeks, do you have food in?
If you pop over to the Old Style board and give a list of what you have in your cupboard, those peeps on that board can work wonders and give you meal ideas.
Have you got any "credit" left at all on your credit cards?
Can you sell some things on Ebay or do a carboot at the weekend to make some much needed money.0 -
Looks like the last poster forgot to give you the link for doing a SOA. It is here: http://www.makesenseofcards.com/soacalc.html
