Get a FREE Rowan tree to plant
Each school that is registered can now order a FREE Rowan tree sapling to plant in your school grounds. We hope that this will inspire you to hold a tree day at your school, culminating in the planting of your Rowan tree. This is a wonderful opportunity for your pupils to share what they have learnt with other children in the school and with some of their parents.
As there is an ideal time of year to plant a tree - in November - we are encouraging most of our Breathing Places Schools to hold their tree day on the same date, Tuesday 10 November.
To order your tree, email [EMAIL="breathingplacesschools@bbc.co.uk"]breathingplacesschools@bbc.co.uk[/EMAIL] with "Tree" in the subject heading. You need to state your full name and full postal address, as well a contact telephone number, so please ensure you check all these details are in your email before sending it through. The deadline for orders is Friday 2 October 2009.
