I dont doubt you Mr C, just this whole thing has me so confused!
I will ask them for all that info and then go from there.
Thanks xx0 -
DON'T AGREE TO SPEAK TO THEM OR TAKE ANY ACTION UNTIL THEY PROVIDE YOU WITH THE NECESSARY AS MRCOW HAS SAID!
How do you know they are telling you the truth that they now own this debt?
EVERYTHING you say should be in writing and ALL communication MUST be sent by recorded delivery - make sure you keep copies also.
I am currently going through this (for an awful lot more debt) and I have followed what advice I have been given on here to the letter - and it's working.
PLEASE don't worry about your house. It would cost them more to pursue it than the debt is worth.
Good luck - keep us in the loop.

Hello,
I have had a a letter from RBS early August saying that all dealing are now with the company Apex. So from that i believe that they are dealing with it now.
Can i ask for a statement of payments and get an updated balance?
Basically my incoming is £1200, my outs are £800 mortgage, £100 childcare, leaving me with £300. From that £150 is for the loan payment and the other £150 is shopping and petrol, broken down usually £50 on petrol and £100 on shopping (which between 4 of us i dont think is so bad!). Based on that i feel that the £150 i am offering is a fair amount!
What do you all think?
Thanks
DL xx0
