How much child maintenance?

Hi
I dont know if Im posting on the right board but wanted to ask a question.
I had a daughter with my then husband but split up shortly afterwards. Instead of going to the CSA I managed to get him to pay £50 a week and he saw her reguarly and still does.
My question is - Is £50 a fair amount for him to pay per week? Ive never asked for anymore in 10 yrs despite costs going up? He still sees her every weekend. I dont know his salary but I think he's a labourer, we arent on speaking terms.
Thanks
Louise

If you were to go to the CSA today they would calculate the maintenance as 15% of his net income less 1/7th for each night per week he has the child overnight weekly
So unless you know his salary it will be difficult to say whether it would be less or higher
If he earns £390 per week net (which is a gross of approx £26k per year) and has the child 1 night per week then the £50 is spot on
If he is paying regularly every week you have to weigh up whether to just leave things as they are...there are some horror stories on here of what happens when CSA start getting involved. (I think they have a place for nrps that do not pay)0 -
Thanks Caz - Im not going to rock the boat as I know of others who dont get anything, my friend gets £22pw

That is because the £38 was actually less than what he should have been paying in the first place - he got a discount and now that the household income has freed up some of his money, he can now afford what the full amount.0
