bickering partners

During this stresful time of wedding planning, is anyone else bickering alot with their H2B's...we are none stop arguing with each other about little things...doesn't help that my h2b is very highly strung and gets stressed at the smallest thing. but its doing me brain in at the moment! need the comfort of the knowlegde we are not the only ones!

Kinda!!! It's me that get stressed over anything wedding related as I just want it to be perfect but he is just so chilled and says it will all fall into place. We get married in 9 weeks and he has just only got round to picking his suit and cravat colour which means I now have to get bridemaids dresses to tie in. Al colours need to match! He pretty much leaves it upto me!!! Grrrr

It's normal - men tend to think that their job is over once they have asked you to marry them not realising that they have to have some input into the wedding other than turning up saying vows and having a good old knees up afterwards.

Try and come to a compromise - if you both can't agree and try and meet somewhere in the middle, if not then put that aside and move onto the next thing you can always come back to it later.

Remember too that its also his wedding and therefore remind him gently that he needs to have some input - give him specific job to do as that might help e.g. booking the honeymoon, sorting out wedding cars - things that are not too complicated:D

main thing we cannot agree on is Honeymoon destination and Name change. driving me mental...im willing to compromise on name and double barrel but he's gone down its "traditional" path....ok then when we get wed I'll give up and you can "keep" me! arhh
I want a luxury once in a lifetime holiday...he wants to go to Greece..no offense to anyone who is going there but we can go there any time ( we have been twice) I jsut want something more memorable

We're still getting along fine, but have recently decided to buy our first house, which we should be moving into less than a week after coming back from honeymoon.

We just might be crazy, and I'm feeling there may well be plenty of possibility for fireworks coming up.

oh oh , mine might be a bit stressful then :eek:, weve only just set the date but we cant agree about which colour to paint the walls in our house

Lol, mine's pretty easy going. When we buy a house, my partner has said I can paint and decorate the house how I like...just leave his office to him. lol.

And I'm a bit worried about planning my wedding if he ever porposes...he's done it all before so knows what to do and "where to cut corners". Which i had a go at him for saying that. lol. It'll be my first, his second. Cant wait! :rotfl:

it will be my 2nd and his 3rd :eek: never had much imput on his last 2 so

might want more this time
