Does anyone know how long halifax take to send the valuer I paid my fee last thursday and the seller has still not heard anything, also does anyone know if further credit checks are carried out before I get mortgage offer as they have searched experian and call credit (3 searches on call credit file) the searches have been added to my files

My experience was 1 day. Fee taken and valuation done in the same day.
After ouyr valuation no furthe rchecks were made. The valuation matched the house price and the mortgage was offered0
