Bridesmaids questions

Hi everyone, newbie on here with a few questions for you seasoned wedding planners.

I'm having 4 bridesmaids aged 7, 8,9 and 12 and they are located in Chester, Newcastle and two near me in west Wales. What is the best way of chosing and fitting the dresses? I was hoping to get them to try them on and buy them from BHS, Debenhams, etc local to them but I don't seem to see much available.

What do you suggest I do? We are getting married in 6 months (have only just decided to get married) so not much time for shopping trips and virtually no hope of getting them all together before the wedding. And if anyone has seen simple style dresses in spring colours suitable for the girls, any advice is appreciated :D

they're both the same kind of thing really, chinese companies that custom make dresses. milly seem to be more expensive but send pics of the stages of dress making, whereas landy are a bit cheaper but dont do that.

  • I had a similar problem and used https://www.dessy.com - they've got stockists all over the country (even deepest darkest yorkshire!) and they were fab. hth.

How about Debenhams, order online and then they can try on and send back if needs be?

This type of thing any good?? http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_10001_10001_65021_829794_-1

Ive got mine from debenhams and they are stunning. If your not getting married too soon get them to try them on now and keep an eye out for a sale. I saved £30 on mine by waiting for a sale :)

  • Hi

Thanks for this link and dresses are gorgeous but how do you work out a price? Saw price code but can't find a key to it. Could be just what my daughter is looking for

    Penny
  • next is another good one, think there may be a mid-season sale next weekend - though it may not include bridal, but they have some nice little things, got mine in the last big sale even though wedding is a year away and just went for a size larger than what they were now. Get their measure ments then check the sizing guide online, then order, or choose the dress you want them to wear then ask parents to place their own orders and choose the size they think is best.
