OK I know it is late in the day but I feel the need to get this down in writing!
I have:
Banked £5.73 in small change
Am off to make broccoli & apple soup for the freezer (thanks OS!) as BF forgot what we were eating for dinner tonight and made something completely different....and I can't bear to waste the broccoli!
Rung up an acquaintance to get a plumbing job done and he only charged £15 whereas if it had been someone out of the Yellow Pages.....well.....I dread to think.
I took my favourite boots in to be reheeled before I ruined them...shame that I won't get them back for a week though
Posted Mum's birthday card but she said she would wait till she sees me in a couple of weeks to get her gifts so to save on postage (feel a bit rotten though......am tempted to send her some flowers...via Quidco of course :rotfl: )
Did some clicks/searches on QuidCo.
Hopefully there will be some more things tomorrow.
I hope everyone else had at least one money saving event today.

Well I was working from 10am - 8.30pm so lunch and dinner were provided for me free of charge! If that isn't DFW stylee then I don't know what is...
:heartpuls CG :heartpulsEver wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.0 -
I made all my lunch, breakfast and dinner , and didn't spend any money at all, not even online!
In fact, I made about £30 from Quidco, paid in some checks, and got my debt down on the Barclays account - only a little bit to go, and then I can hammer down my HSBC Account!!0 -
Apart from bus home, Ive managed to keep my pennies in my purse today!
Ive done a survey for 80p ooh! Cooked tea from scratch , packed tomorrows lunches and took sausages out of freezer for tomorrows tea.
Quite boring but cheap nonetheless!£2.00 Coin Savers Club - £72.00 :j :j

wooohooo sold my first book on Green Metropolis today and banked a cheque from greasy palm for £38.00. I dried 2 loads of washing on the line and had HM lentil & tomato soup with 10p reduced loaf of bread from Tescos. Not too bad really:cool: Official DFW Nerd Club Member #37 Debt free Feb 07 :cool:0

mmmmm oops a daisy, do you have the recipie for the lentil & tomato soup per chance? I LOVE making soup, I find it so healthy, filling & a pleasure to make. I made the broccoli & apple soup tonight and BF just got home & said it smells really tasty :T
Would love the recipie if you have it...I have a whole bag of red lentils to use up somehow!Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.
