Thanks mrsv05, we have tried most pull ups, but that as they are so absorbent they feel like nappies to him.
Im trying the pull ups as they have the car that disappears when wet & am trying to use it as an incentive (we shall see!)
I do appreciate your tip though, if this tactic fails I will be back o the search!

kprigg, the stickers that come with the pack are to be used on a potty training chart inside the box lid. Maybe sticking a Lightning McQueen on a chart may help him?

I potty trained both mine by going cold turkey and putting them in normal pants from day 1, no pull ups. Days 1,2 and 3 were horrid, day 4 it started to work and day 5 it seemed to click and whilst they still had a few accidents (and still do) it broke the back of their learning as they realised they could stop the wet legs. If you're at home and DS doesn't go to nursery, could cold turkey be an option?

I found mine in a Tesco Extra. In previous years I have bought similar boxes in Asda, so who knows?!
