Hi
Im in the process of becoming an Ann Summers rep (mainly because of the 30% discount and theres a lovely underwear set that im after :rotfl:) and also because I think I could possibly make some good money esp with Xmas coming up.
Now im in no way shy, i can talk vibrators and oils with the best of them but what I wanted to know is .. does anyone have any tried and tested methods for making there parties successful? (apart from plying them with loadsa booze so if i muck up they possibly won't remember it!!!! :rotfl:kidding)
Any help much appreciated!!!

I guess offering a good incentive for people to hold parties in the first place would be good - would encourage people who attend those parties to host their own at a later date......keep it entertaining (though not difficult with ann summers lol!) and not too long else people might get fed up!
Definately look into your advertising to get the most parties you can - your friends/family will only want to attend so many parties!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
Thanks.
Ive also just signed up for avon (well kind of, i send an enquiry and came home to a pile of books so im assuming they want me)
But theyve only given me 20 books and theres like 120 houses in my scheme alone. Im assuming I can do more than 1 run?0 -
i did ann summers for a couple of months. i only did like 4 parties but i made roughly £70 on each of them. most parties are well paid, although some are horrific and only want the free games and dont buy anything! then theres the parties where they pinch your stuff! sorry to be negative! but there are good little earners out there!
i quit because i didnt drive at the time and my unit manager used to text us every day pushing us to get more bookings and she was really pushy. i just wanted to do parties when i wanted!
but i did enjoy it and i think i might start it up again. but with a different manger!
also it is extremely hard to get 'bookings'. some people book only to cancel the hour before its due to start!
your family and friends are the best people to start with, then hopefully it'll lead from there.
there is a brill little forum for ann summers organisers with loads of other reps on, they have loads of hints and tips. i cant quite remember the address but i think its something like 'annsummersorganisers' sorry i cant remember!
gl and please dont be put off by what ive said, i just think you should know the bad sides too!

Yes you have 3 weeks per campaign, so just take those books leave them for about 2 days, recollect & repackage and deliver to the next lot of houses....you definately don't want to be using one book per household, as otherwise when you are buying the books it would cost you a fortune, get used to doing a few trips....also, you can use the current brochure & the previous brochure at the same time, so only try and cover 60 of those houses, then next time the houses you didn't do could have those books and the ones you did do could have the new books - saves a lot of money!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0
