I've just tried to order tall Uggs from Asos using the 25% code which expires midnight tonight, but the site asks for full credit card details, including security code on the back of the card, my date of birth, gender etc., before giving me any prompt to enter the discount code. So the final price - if the code doesn't work - will be full price at £190 and I don't want to pay that much.

I can imagine you'd have hassle if you give them all your details then don't want to place your order. Is this usual for Asos to do?

I didn't think (from reading others reports) that you can use the code on Uggs.

I can't say if this is normal for ASOS to do as their codes are so so rare!

I think you can use it on some Uggs but not others. Don't even know if it can be used on Classic Talls, and the website gives you no way of finding out.

Just seems odd to have to give full credit card details before giving you a final price, don't you think?

Did you manage to order your boots Zaksmum? I listed all the boots it worked on earlier in the thread. It definately worked on tall classics. They ended up at £142.50

NO, sadly. Gutted!! Serves me right I suppose for leaving it so late, but I thought I was going to order the cardy Uggs for my daughter till she turned up at our house wearing a pair her boyfriend had treated her to.

Had to do a quick recalculation and she likes the tall Uggs, so I thought I'd go for them, but ONLY with the 25% code.

The web page just did not recognise the code though it was still before midnight.

And I do think it's odd they want your details before the price.

ASOS do free returns so if you have the problem again (sorry I wasn't around to say this before!) and do get charged, you can just return them and they'll refund you within days. They're very good.

Any more codes? I couldn't use the last one as I don't get paid 'til tomorrow but have had my eye on a jumper dress for a while... :)
