Charcol online kept up to date?

Just asking. On their front page they have a list of 'Our Best Buy Mortgages', but I can find no record of these on the websites of the actual banks.

For example, there's a terrific CAM/flexible with Clydesdale:

Purchase & Remortgage 10% Clydesdale Bank 4.9% fixed for 300 months - 5.2% APR No early repayment charges

But I can't find it on the Clydesdale website. When I try to find if I'm eligible through Charcol, it says no, no matter what info I put it. Does that mean the deal is gone?

A lot of Lenders do special deals with Charcol and you wont find these on the Lenders site as they are exclusive through Charcol and will have very strict conditions attached to them. ie low LTV, non self employed etc etc etc.

What the Lender gets is a promise of a certain amount of ££mortgages for the special deal.

Its Charcol using therir volume power to squeeze better rates from Lenders.
