Just as I thought.
And of course someone on here will always be willing to help others out.
I'm not actually after this book; I spotted the offer on another website. Will keep all of this info in mind whenever I see a deal like this again though.
I have heard of filleritem.com before, I think Martin has pointed this out in the past. Great site!0 -
many thanks to all for this post.
i originally ordered it from amazon, with the preorder of the new startrek dvd, but that came back as will be dispatched in november in one parcel, so i cancelled that and then reorder it with the 24p paint brush posted by someone here. many thanks for that! the filler site cam up with some bizarre stuff at 50p though some was out of stock. so this at 24p was cheaper and will come in useful im sure. plus cheaper that driving 18 mile round trip to our nearest asda! so thanks all0 -
The "book depository" (google it) is selling the new Dan Brown book - The Lost Symbol for £4.99 delivered free worldwide.
Hardback and only one per customer. Don't know how long special price is valid for.
I have just ordered mine.
I don't think this can be beaten.
Excellent!!0 -
book depository now back up to £9.99 when I just checked there, still £4.99 on amazon so I take it I'm ordering a paint brush too.................On my way to well earned riches (I hope!) :T:T:T0

Thanks v much hale.berry09!! Went to my local ASDA and got a copy!! V pleased! There were none left on the shelves but a sneaky wee pile at the customer services desk - worth asking there if you are looking for one!! Thanks again.0

Just back from Asda and couldnt find the book anywhere, loads of other peeps heading straight to the hard back books looking for it too.
I had already planned where I was going to paint (with the 24p brush!) when I saw a stack of them on my way out next to Customer Services :j
They were not visable on the way in so worth a look as ramk said. I love my gorgeous little girl0 -
is this a book you can read without reading angels & demons and da vinci code or are they all part of the same series? Amazon says it's a sequal.0

really good deal.
I was in asda boldon to get this book before i saw the post,
They had around 10 or so left on shelves, in the hard back book section and also on the end of book aisle.
50 pages down lol.... good so far
I would recommend you read the others as you get familiar with the main character of Langdon but if you like your conspiracy type thrillers i would just go and read it!

Hi, I have Amazone Prime which is great, this means I can get anything next delivery before 12.00 even if I spend £1.49.
I had the Dan Brown book delivered this morning and I will now get a a £5.00 rebate.0 -
Asda.com, £5 free delivery
Only £5.99 at WHSmith if you spend £15 on stationary (i think ), but you can also buy some half price sweets as well. (Thats sarcasm as even at half price they are still dearer than elsewhere).0
