Hi,
I'm new to posting, even though I've been reading and taking advice from this site for a while now. I have put a complaint in that my mortgage was mis-sold, waiting to hear back from them, have started the 100pm shopping challenge this month, so here's hoping!
I would like to know if anyone knows about having the interest stopped on debts. i have been with Payplan for 3 years now, and the interest on the debts I owe still doesn't appear to have stopped, and so it would seem impossible for me to ever pay off these debts, as the interest is more than the money I pay each month!!! I have asked Payplan to speak to my creditor, but this doesn't seem to have worked. If anyone knows any ways to deal with this please let me know.
Also, does anyone know of any places I could go to get any clerical or accounting (yes I work in accounts???!!) work to do at home.
Thanks

Hi
My first thought is that you should nag payplan. Most creditors do freeze interest, although they may take a bit of time to do it. Three years is more than enough.
You may well be getting a lump sum from your mis-selling complaint. Are you thinking about using it for full & final settlement offers? You might want to target the awkward creditors, but don't make a very generous offer.
