Betterware

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone on here does Betterware and if you do, how do you find it? I've been doing it for 3 months and some weeks are a lot better than others. Do you know if it gets more popular towards Christmas?
Never going to be rich from it but every little helps.
Thanks

I did it in 2000. On my first day It took me 1 hour to post the catalogues out down 1 street of about 120 houses. Next day it took me 2 hours to collect them in. I made about £8 commission from that. And I still had to go out the next day to collect the catalogues from the people who were not in from when I was collecting them in the day before which took another hour. Not to mention delivering the goods people ordered when I got them.
Not worth it so I packed in in after a couple of weeks.0 -
I don't do betterware I do kleeneze and our orders definitely increase in the run up to xmas, as for the poster above who did a couple of drops and packed in, well that is exactly why you got no orders, customers want to know you are going to come back regularly and that they WILL get their order so therefore they test you at 1st with not ordering the 1st time you come round or giving small orders to see if you will turn up, once they see you are coming regularly they start to give you bigger orders.0

Agree with what you say. We've just finished our second catalogue and about half the people who ordered from our first catalogue have ordered from the second also, plus quite a few have ordered for the first time on this second one, hopefully now they've seen we are reliable etc.
I think quite a lot of people give up after a few weeks. Not too sure what some of them expect, maybe 'get rich quick' or suddenly realise that it does take a bit of time to pick up. That said, it can be a little demoralising sometimes when you're on a bad road, collecting 100 catalogues for only 1 order but then it becomes worth it again like it did today, 80 catalogues picked up for 10 orders.0 -
Don't do what the Kleeneze, Bettarware and Avon reps do round here, which is leave a slip with their name and a mobile no. on. They won't get any business from me like that. Well they won't get any anyway probably but that puts me right off. Why should I phone a mobile number.Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:

We were discouraged from using a mobile phone number. People don't like phoning them and also a landline number shows you're local.0 -
I have a betterware team leader visit me tomorrow morning about starting - hopefully i'll be able to start straight away! I dont want to earn mega bucks from it, but just a little bit extra - its good to have something like Betterware on the side as it doesnt take any real mental energy - just physical energy and time!'It is better to live your own destiny imperfectly than to live an imitation of somebody else's life with perfection' Elizabeth Gilbert.
