I want to buy a 42” LCD TV as cheaply as possible

It must be:
42”
LCD
Wall Mountable
HD ready (or full HD but I know that’s highly unlikely on my budget)
Have PC input (D-sub)
Have 1 year guarantee (min)
Brand new

It would be better if it was:
A good brand
From Argos

Currently, well yesterday, the cheapest I could have got was £474 delivered. As I have seen one that meets my requirements in Argos sale for under £400 but missed it due to no stock left I have decided to wait to try and find a better deal. Any ideas welcome but my criteria, above, are not negotiable – I am not interested in plasma, refurbished, etc. etc – and there is now 14/09/09, no stock of the two obvious choices on Argos website.

Thanks in advance.

I'd check www.argos.co.uk for 42'' LCDs if I was you

Are you deliberately being a nob? It is a serious question and my use of the words 'must' and 'would be better' clearly distinguish what is required from what is preferable.

Any serious advice would be appreciated.

I was deliberately being a nob. I mean, why wouldn't people sit trawling through tvs only for your very specific requirements to rule out most options :D

I'm not asking or expecting them to but the idea of this site is to share information and help others save money and someone may have recently purchased a similar TV that would be good for me. My requirements are specific but they are all pretty standard.
