I left orange peel in a food container and even though it has been washed several times food that goes in it still tastes orangey. How can I stop this from happening?

put about a tablespoon of bicarbonate of soda in it and fill with water - leave it overnight then empty it and rinse it thoroughly - may take a couple of goes - but I used to do this with the kids plastic lunchbox flasks. or - you could mix bicarb into a paste and rub inside if you can reach. then fill with bicarb and water and leave overnight - works faster!0

Well bicarb used to get rid of the smell of babysick, so it shouldn't have a problem with orange!"Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"
