                    Hi all,
I declared BR on the 19th of August and I still havent recieved my "welcome pack" containing my OR interview date and time.
Its close to a month since BR and just wanted to know if this is the norm because I havent had ANY contact whatsoever from the OR.
I have rang the court I dealt with a week ago informing them of the situation and they seemed a little confused that I havent recieved anything yet. They said they would send a pack out straight away but still nothing??
Is this anything to be concerned about??
Thanks.

Does seem odd, my stuff arrived within a couple of days of BR.
Do you know which OR office would be dealing with your case? As it may be better to contact them direct rather than going through the court.BR 26th Jan 09 . . . Discharged 21/9/09 !!! :j:j:j0

I would contact the OR. At least this way you won't be worrying unnecessarily about it. I'm sure that all is ok but if you're like me you will just want to draw a line under all of this and get on with your life.0

            Hi all,
Thanks for your replies, I think the best bet is to ring the OR direct but because I havent evan had a letter, I wouldnt know who to call.
I will ring the court again and ask for the OR number.
Some people say that no news is good news but when it comes to something as serious as BR, I much rather hear something, that way, lie tadsa said, I just want to draw a line under it and move on.
 Thanks guys.0

I am in a similar situation (but for not as long) was declared BR on 1st Sept. Have heard nothing for two weeks - I rang the OR office today (Sheffield) and spoke to a really nice lady - my OR is apparently on Annual leave (popular time for holidays!!). She said sometimes it can be a month or so to hear anything anyway. She assured me there was nothing to worry about. My advice would be to give them a call but I think you'll find theyre simply very busy or on holiday or something similar!
 Hope that helps0

MrHadEnough: Thanks, I will give them a call tomorrow but like you said, it is a popular time for holidays.
 Will see how it goes.
 Thanks all!:D0
