Occasional independent commentary

There are lots of new entries this week.

Recycling mobiles for cash proved to be of an incredible amount of interest with well over 100,000 people reading the article. It only goes to show that people can be interested in recycling if the the financial incentives are right.

Low cost air travel remains popular making politicians wary of tackling the serious upper atmosphere polution that air travel has been shown to cause. Making air travel more expensive would penalise the lower paid and be very unpopular. Tax incentives for airlines using low polution aircraft may be a way forward.

Celebrity endorsements of financial products has also been of considerable interest.
