Anyone coming to the end or finished their DMP?

Just wondered if anyone was coming to their end of their DMP or has finished it? I have another 3 / 4 years I think left and just wondered what happened at the end if you haven’t paid off all the debt owed. I think they may put offers into the creditors but just wanted to see what other peoples experience of this was?

No sure what you mean, a DMP should be based on the payment you can afford each month rather than a set amount of time. It can be lengthened by you missing payments or the creditors adding interest or charges.
The DMP I was running for DH simply ended when he had no creditors left, some settled for reduced figures while others simply got paid off.
My own debts are standard interest bearing and were not effected by the DMP at all.Barclaycard 3800

Hello,
My DMP (CCCS) ended in November 2008, it lasted just over 5 years although the first few months were with Geoffrey Pennington!
It was reviewed each year & increased to what I could afford to pay.
All the debts were paid in full except for one which I disputed the amount & as they couldn't supply the CCA, it was written off - I think! I say that as it's still on my credit file as a default and no payments made! I have just contacted Experian about this but not sure if a 'satisfied' default is any better than a default?
I also have 2 other defaults on my credit file, both are for the same debt & one shows no payments made at all!! (the original creditor) the other is a debt collection agency which shows some payments made but a small amount still owing!
I got a Capital One credit card in March which I pay off in full each month so hopefully that will help to 'repair' my credit rating.
Not sure if this helps you - think I've asked more questions than answered!
Hope all goes well with your DMP.0
