Drying Lavendar Oddments

Hi there, wondering if any of you OS'ers can help me with this little problem please....
I have just harvested some Lavendar from my garden with the help of my 3 year old daughter! This made the process a little more random than expected, so we have lots of short bits that wont be able to be hung up to dry but there is too much to waste. Just wondered if there is a way to dry these little bits effectively?
I thought perhaps removing the actual flowers from the stalky bit and putting them in a dish or something in the airing cupboard?
Any ideas? Thanks!!

i would probably lay them out in/on a pillowcase and put in the airing cupboard or equivalent. I tend to leave the stalks on as I find it easier to separate the flowers from the stalks once dried. Your airing cupboard will smell lovely!0

I used to put the smaller bits into an old pillowcase & hang it in the airing cupboard.
Or remove the heads & put into a paper bag, then hang that up to dry.0 -
Thanks Ubamother and Floss2, I have taken your advice! I now have 2 small bundles and a pillow case full of Lavender hanging in my airing cupboard and it smells gorgeous!
Ive got another half a bush full to cut, so plenty of Lavender bags worth :T
Thanks again
