I nipped into the local freezer shop this morning and noticed they had huge 3kg catering foil bags of passata for 99p  They were either Del Monte or Dolmio, I can't remember which.
The sell by date is 2010 so they'll keep for a bit but it did say once opened keep in the fridge and use as soon as possible. I'd never go through a bag that big in a few days so was wondering if I could freeze it in portion sizes?

You can also use it to make wicked Bl**dy Mary's instead of tomato juice.0

What a bargain, if you freeze in bags inside containers then you can remove the bags when they're frozen and just stack them up and reuse the containers!GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000

God I wish we had heron down here
we used to have one in Gatreshead I used to go to when I was at uni up there, and there are quite a few in the north west.
Love trying to fathom whose brand name is under the black marker( do they still do that)
I went mad once and bought about 5 M&S gateaux. I had no room in the freezer though. So I just gave thme away to housemates
Altogether now
